The Lotus linear switches are built with a POM stem and an all-nylon housing. The nylon used for the top and bottom housing is a newer material for HMX. The top housing combines PA12 and PA11, which shares similar properties to PA12, resulting in a focused yet subtle top-out sound. Meanwhile, the P2 bottom housing has reduced fiberglass content but still delivers the familiar clacky bottom-out sound characteristic of HMX switches.
